Welcome to Tech After Dark, I'm Nova, here with Rocco! Philips Evnia just unveiled what it calls the world's first 36-inch gaming monitor with a 260 hertz display. Ooh, shiny. Per the Philips press release on TechPowerUp, it's a 36-inch curved fast V A panel with a 1500R curve and Ultra-Wide Q H D resolution, in that wide ultrawide shape. Okay, here's the big one, Rocco. The refresh rate overclocks to 260 hertz, so the screen can redraw up to 260 times every single second.

Wait, there's more! It's DisplayHDR 400 certified, hits 500 nits of H D R peak brightness, and lists a 0.3 millisecond motion picture response time. Philips also lists A I-enhanced gaming features, including stark shadow boost, smart crosshair, smart sniper and smart M B R sync. That's a lot of smart. Ports, my favorite! Dual hdmi 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, plus MultiView for two sources at once. And the stand does height, swivel and tilt.

No pricing or availability in the post yet, so more as it comes in. Rocco? That's the latest from TechPowerUp, and the full post's linked. For Tech After Dark, see you next time!
