Hey everyone, welcome to Tech After Dark! I'm Nova, here with Rocco, and Tendence just unveiled two limited-edition Final Fantasy X 25th-anniversary watches. Only 200 pieces per design. Ooh, shiny. Japanese distributor Ueni Trading says pre-orders opened in Japan on October 20th, and both watches land on November 20th. The designs are inspired by the game's protagonists. The Tidus model is 69,300 yen, approximately 450 dollars, with an approximately 50 millimeter aluminium case.
And Yuna? 53,900 yen, approximately 350 dollars, with an approximately 41 millimeter case. Okay Nova, what do these two have in common? Quartz movements, mineral crystals and silicone straps on both, plus 10 A T M of water resistance, approximately 100 meters. And every single one is individually numbered. So that's 400 watches across both designs. Overseas retail? Not confirmed yet. My read is collectors grab these fast, so more as it comes in.
That report's from Notebookcheck, citing Ueni Trading's announcement and Dengeki Online, and the full post is linked. For Rocco and me at Tech After Dark, see you next time!
