Hey everyone, welcome to Tech After Dark! I'm Rocco, Cache is here, and N E C's Lavie brand just dropped the Lavie X14, a 14-inch laptop with 30-hour battery life! And it's no lightweight inside, either. Notebookcheck says it's got an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 chip and 32 gigabytes of R A M. Wait. Thirty hours, Cache? How? Big tank, Rocco. A 99.9 watt hour battery, good for roughly 30 hours of video playback and 51 hours just sitting idle.

Okay, I want it. Where do I grab one? Bad news, buddy: Japan only, for roughly 364,870 yen, and a launch anywhere else looks quite unlikely. Notebookcheck has the full post linked, see you next time!
