Hey everyone, welcome to Tech After Dark, with the newest P C and gaming gear from the last few hours! I'm Rocco, and next to me is Cache, the pack rat who remembers every old price tag. Two stories, and a featherweight mouse leads the way. Thanks, Rocco. My pockets are stuffed with last year's cables, and my wallet's all warmed up for a good deal. First up, mouse land! Hitscan just launched the Hyperlight X.
TechPowerUp says it's a wireless gaming mouse that weighs 35 to 37 grams. Quick history check. It updates the original Hyperlight from 2024. Same symmetrical shape, but lighter, with S P D T switches and updated internals. Let's throw the video up on the big screen. Okay Cache, what do those new insides actually buy me? Here's the whole upgrade list. Hitscan says it's all in the name of faster clicks and lower response times.
But the post doesn't give a price or a date, so I'm holding onto my wallet for now. Aw, fine. Over in tablet land, Lenovo just listed the Xiaoxin 10.1 Color Ink Soft Light Edition in China. It's a 10.1-inch tablet with a 120 hertz anti-glare screen. Notebookcheck's got the details. The L C D is 2,136 by 1,280 pixels at 500 nits, with three modes: Original Color, Color Paper and Ink Paper. Wait, Ink Paper on a screen that still plays color video?
Cache, how's that stack up against the older Tab M10? Oh, I've got one in the nest! The Tab M10 third gen has the same 10.1-inch size, but a 60 hertz panel at a typical 320 nits. The new one runs a MediaTek Helio G300 with 6 or 8 gigabytes of R A M and a 7,060 milliamp hour battery. Okay, I'm sold. When can I grab one? Sales start in China on October 30th at 8 PM local time. Lenovo hasn't announced a price or other markets yet, so no deal alert this time, Rocco.
Ugh, okay, that's fair. That's the latest, from TechPowerUp and Notebookcheck, and the full posts are linked with the episode. See you next time!
