Okay, this just in on Tech After Dark. I'm Rocco, co-host Glitch is right here, and Garmin just launched the Descent X10, a cheaper dive computer built around a MiP display. Notebookcheck reports it's the new base model below the Descent X30 and X50i, water-resistant to 100 meters, with a grayscale MiP screen instead of an L C D. Grayscale, sure, but that screen's the whole trick, Glitch: Garmin says it saves power.

Notebookcheck lists 50 hours of active use, or six months in standby. Okay, okay, the part I actually care about: the price. It goes on sale November 6th at the Garmin online store for 349 dollars and 99 cents. And that's 400 dollars below the Descent X30's list price, per Notebookcheck, which is the whole story here. The full post is linked, see you next time.
