Fresh off the feeds! I'm Rocco with Nova on Tech After Dark, and A M D's Zen 6 just got its first early single-core benchmark. Yep. TechPowerUp reports leaker H X L spotted a Geekbench listing for the 256-core epyc 9996. That's A M D's flagship Venice chip. Okay, Nova, what'd it score? 2,847 points in single-core, on a Dell PowerEdge server. And before you start celebrating, this is a leaked listing, not an official A M D result.

Fine, fine. TechPowerUp calls it an early per-clock look against Zen 5, and they say the numbers look good. Full post's linked, see you next time!
