Fresh off the feeds, it's Tech After Dark. I'm Nova, here with Ohm. Bmax just pulled the wraps off the MaxBook X15 S Pro, a budget laptop, and oh, it is budget. And Nova, it's packing a nearly eight-year-old Intel Core i3, plus 12 gigabytes of R A M and a 512 gigabyte S S D! That chip's practically my generation! Notebookcheck says it scores roughly 2,000 points in Cinebench R23, a test of how fast a chip crunches work.

That's almost 500 behind the Intel N150 you'll find in lots of entry-level mini P Cs. Bzzt. Okay, so who's it actually for? What this means for you: web browsing, chat and light office work, and that's it. No price or release date yet. The full Notebookcheck post is linked, see you next time.
