Hey everyone, welcome to Tech After Dark! I'm Nova, here with our spec-loving robot Ohm, and Amazon just announced its big new Echo Show 16 smart display. Thanks, Nova! The Verge got a first look, and they're calling it a ground-up rebuild of the whole Echo Show line. Big, gorgeous, and eye-wateringly expensive, says The Verge. Ohm, hit the big board. 499 dollars and 99 cents, wall mount included! Want the Nanomatte display?

That's 569 dollars and 99 cents! Okay, the catch is a nice one for once: preorders are open now with a 100 dollar discount, and it's out later this year. The full post from The Verge is linked, see you next time.
