Hey everyone, welcome to Tech After Dark, fresh off the feeds! I'm Nova, here with Rocco, and Cherry just dropped new mechanical keyboard switches. Shiny new switches! TechPowerUp has Cherry's announcement, and there are three new ones: the M X Illuma Red, the M X Illuma Brown and the M X Emerald Reef. Okay, Nova, newcomer question. What's a switch, actually? It's the little mechanism under each key that registers your press.

Cherry says these focus on improved stability, enhanced R G B lighting, that's the colorful glow under the keys, and quieter operation. So steadier keys, brighter lights, less clatter. Love it. Price? Release date? Neither's in the post yet, so more as it comes in. For you, it's simple: if you're shopping for a mechanical keyboard, there are three new Cherry options to watch for. That's Cherry's announcement via TechPowerUp, and the full post is linked.

See you next time!
