Fresh off the feeds, it's Tech After Dark. I'm Nova, with our screen-loving co-host Hopper. Engadget just reviewed the EasySMX Season 10 Lite, a budget Switch 2 controller. Hi, Nova! Engadget praised its clicky buttons and Hall effect sticks, which use magnets so they resist drift. Hold on, Hopper, look at the price. It's regularly listed at 40 dollars, and most Switch 2 controllers cost around 70.

And it's cute in ice blue! Okay, what's the catch? A magnetic faceplate she calls wonky and cheap-feeling. And despite the D I Y pitch, EasySMX doesn't actually sell replacements. So for you, Engadget says the 30 dollar 8BitDo Ultimate 2C still beats it. The full review's linked, see you next time.
