Whoa, hot off the news desk! Welcome to Tech After Dark, I'm Rocco, here with Ohm, and Apple's new iPad mini 8 has a smaller battery. Notebookcheck says Apple's E U regulatory sheet lists 4,900 milliamp hours! Down from 5,034 on the iPad mini 7. Bzzt! Oof, look at that number, Ohm. So does battery life take the hit? Apple claims no! Still up to 10 hours of video or web browsing! Okay, but it's only at pre-order, so that claim's hard to verify.
