Fresh off the feeds on Tech After Dark, I'm Nova, here with Rocco. Somebody just put an ergonomic mechanical keyboard with a built-in trackpad on Kickstarter. Thanks, Nova. TechPowerUp reports it's called the Vantex V1, a new mechanical keyboard project that recently launched on Kickstarter. The trick is the layout. It borrows the columnar stagger from split keyboards like the Corne, so the keys line up in straight columns for your fingers, and packs it into one aluminium unibody chassis.

And then, right in the middle? A trackpad. Your whole input setup in one slab. Okay, that's the short list. And here's the catch: the report had no price and no shipping dates. Our quick read, it's an easier way into split-style typing. TechPowerUp's full post is linked, more as it comes in, see you next time.
