A speaker shaped like a milk carton. Yes, really. Welcome to Tech After Dark, with the latest from the last few hours! I'm Nova, and beside me is Cache, our bargain-sniffing pack rat with a nest full of old gadgets, and we've got two stories. Guilty, the nest is very full! And Nova, that speaker's a real price story, so let's get going. First up, GSMArena went hands-on with the C M F Speaker S, a compact Bluetooth speaker for just 69 euros.
Cache, what's that get you? Deal alert, Nova! It pushes 10 watts through a 45 millimetre driver, plus two passive radiators to fake the bass. Want more? The bigger Speaker M is 114 euros for twice the power. Cute. But GSMArena's review found the catch. Fair, fair. But it's IP68 for dust and dunking, and the knob and front swap between speakers. Just know C M F doesn't sell those parts alone, so you'd need two.
Okay, over in P C land. Notebookcheck says Blackview just unveiled the Zeno 2, a compact Android 16 tablet with an 8.68-inch display. Built for reading and everyday stuff, Nova. Unisoc Tiger T310 chip, 4 gigabytes of R A M, 128 gigabytes of storage, and microSD up to 2 terabytes. Screen's 1,340 by 800, same resolution as Xiaomi's Redmi Pad S E 8.7. So, Cache. What's it cost? Ugh, that's the groan. Blackview hasn't announced a price, a release date, or which markets get it.
This one's a wait. Then here's a number to like. A 5,000 milliamp hour battery, rated for up to 5.5 hours of video playback, and it's IP54, so splashes won't hurt it. And it comes in Midnight Black, Glacier Blue and Mint Green, with a headphone jack. My cable pockets thank you. That's the latest from GSMArena and Notebookcheck, and the full posts are linked with the episode. See you next time!
