A watch inspired by a grand piano? Hey everyone, welcome to Tech After Dark, I'm Nova, here with Hopper, our resident screen gazer. Franck Muller just unveiled a limited-edition watch, the Grand Curvex Piano 7 Days Power Reserve. Oh, the dial! Notebookcheck says that mirror-like finish is 20 layers of black enamel, like a concert grand piano. Okay Nova, what's a power reserve? It's how long a watch keeps going on one full winding.
This one's hand-wound, and it runs about 170 hours. A whole week! Okay, what's it cost? From 4,818,000 yen, and only 50 pieces. The catch for you: it's a Japan release, rolling out wider there on November 12th. That's via Notebookcheck, and the full post is linked. See you next time.
