Fresh off the feeds, welcome to Tech After Dark. I'm Nova, here with our resident bargain hunter Cache, and Apple just unveiled the iMac with M6. Thanks, Nova! And get this: Apple says on-device A I runs up to five times faster than the M4 iMac. Five times! Easy there. Engadget spotted the catch: it's the same 24-inch display, and it's Thunderbolt 4, not Thunderbolt 5. Okay, okay, but deal check, look at this number.

It starts at 1,499 dollars, the 12-core model's 1,699, and pre-orders open October 28th. And it lands November 6th, in seven colors. That's from Apple and Engadget, there's more in the full post linked below, and we'll see you next time.
