Whoa. A power bank with its own cable built in? I never lose a cable again! You lose cables because you borrow them. Also, what comes out of this battery is less than the big number on the box. It's the oppo 22.5W Power Bank 10000. 2,199 rupees in India, about twenty-three bucks! It's for topping up a phone, earbuds and a watch on the go. This is Tech After Dark. We read six sources, and zero hands touched it.
New thing one: the cable is built in. Braided U S B-C, and it doubles as a carry loop! It's 150 millimetres. Shorter than a pencil, so keep your phone close. Thing two: three devices at once! The cable, a spare U S B-C port and a U S B-A port. Phone, earbuds, watch, all at once. Okay, that's genuinely handy. Thing three: it speaks almost every fast-charge language. P D, P P S, Quick Charge, ufcs, vooc!
Translation: most Android phones and iPhones should fast charge, not just Oppo's. And Low Current Mode! A gentle trickle for earbuds and smartwatches! Because some banks see a tiny earbud sip and just, stop. Fair. Now the spec Rocco won't like. The box says ten thousand milliamp-hours. Ten thousand! That's huge! That's the cell inside. Out the U S B port, it's rated 5,600. Notebookcheck flagged it.
Wait. Seriously? So how many phone charges do I get? Oppo claims about two iPhone 16 charges. TelecomTalk says about one and a half for big phones. Okay, okay. But it's thin, right? Pocket thin? Credit where due: 1.6 centimetres thick, 185 grams. About a phone's weight. And how fast does it actually charge stuff? 22.5 watts out: quick phone top-ups, not laptops. 20 in, so refills are reasonably quick.
TelecomTalk calls it not very expensive, with pretty good capacity. Good value, basically. See? Value! FoneArena highlights the fast-charge support and airline carry-on approval! Notebookcheck notes Xiaomi already sells a very similar bank. So! 2,199 rupees, pre-orders open on Oppo's India store, sales start October 29th. Nova's Catch: India only, Black only, and no SuperVOOC, so Oppo phones miss top speed.
Oh no. Oppo's own phones get the slow lane? That's cold. Rival one: Xiaomi's Pocket Power Bank launched at 1,699 rupees. Same 22.5 watts. Cheaper?! Then why would anyone buy the Oppo? Thickness. Xiaomi's is 2.69 centimetres, the Oppo 1.59. A full centimetre slimmer. And Anker's Zolo is 29.99 dollars in the U S, but about 230 grams to Oppo's 185! Verdict: buy, if you're in India and want slim. I'm a six.
I'm a seven point two! After Dark Score: six point six. Number one on our Other board! Number one of one, Rocco. Now close the product page.
