Whoa, fresh off the feeds on Tech After Dark! I'm Rocco, here with Nova. Honor just quietly dropped the X8e 4G, an entry-level phone with a 108 megapixel camera. Quietly is right. GSMArena says it popped up on Honor's Azerbaijan site, where local retailers sell it for 820 Azerbaijani manat. And it packs a 7,700 milliamp hour battery with 45 watt charging! Okay, Nova. What's the catch? The chip, Rocco.

It's the Snapdragon 685, so video tops out at 1080p and you only get 4G. Still, GSMArena says a high-resolution sensor is unusual in this price class. Okay, okay, that's fair. No word yet on wider availability. Our source is GSMArena, the full post is linked, and we'll see you next time.
