Whoa, fresh Apple news! Welcome to Tech After Dark, I'm Rocco, here with Ohm, and Apple just announced the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with its M6 chip. Per Apple, M6 packs a 12-core C P U and a 12-core G P U, with up to 30 percent faster graphics than M5! Notebookcheck says the design's otherwise unchanged, so it looks just like last year's. Okay, but battery? Apple says up to 24 hours. Notebookcheck clarifies that's video streaming, and it's 16 hours of web browsing.

To the big board, Rocco! It starts at 1,999 dollars, same as its predecessor, Notebookcheck notes. Pre-orders open October 28th, and they arrive from November 6th. My quick take? It's a chip refresh, so M1 owners gain the most. That's from Apple and Notebookcheck, there's more in the full post linked below, and we'll see you next time.
